Everett Hulsey, 86, of Athens, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017.

A native of Habersham County, Mr. Hulsey was a son of the late Ezra Hulsey and Eunice Perry Hulsey. He retired from Westinghouse and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Allie Lou Cantrell Hulsey; brothers, Jeff, Herbert, Rudolph and Minuard and sister, Clara.

Survivors include children and spouses, Joyce Harrison of Woodstock, Phyllis and Chad Skelton of Maxeys, Steve and Karla Hulsey of Bogart and Michele and Jerrell Minish of Athens;...

Survivors include children and spouses, Joyce Harrison of Woodstock, Phyllis and Chad Skelton of Maxeys, Steve and Karla Hulsey of Bogart and Michele and Jerrell Minish of Athens; brother, Julian Hulsey of Mount Airy; sisters, Margie Barnett of Mocksville, NC, Thenia Tilson of Mount Airy and Jean Purcell of Winterville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 13 from 7-9 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be nephews of Mr. Hulsey. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Abel Edmondson, Timothy Harrison, Hunter Hulsey and Parker Minish.
