Donald Ray Epps, 80, of Comer, GA passed away peacefully Thursday, March 26, 2015 surrounded by his children and loved ones.

A native of Athens, GA Mr. Epps was the son of the late Ramey and Annie Lou Epps and was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hawkins and his beloved daughter, Elissa Ann Epps. He retired from Westinghouse after 33 years of service. Mr. Epps was a sports enthusiast and loyal Bulldog fan.

Survivors include his significant other, Renee Dixon of Comer, children, Keith (Teresa) Epps of Danielsville, Kevin Epps of Hoschton, Tami (Tim) Owens of Commerce, Pete Brown of Maxey, and Tiffeney (Brian) Burkhardt of Ila and grandchildren, Eric Epps, Amber Mize, Brittany Mize, Christopher Hanley, Carley (Reid) Holland, Chasity Epps, Madison Epps, and Brandon Burkhardt.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Monday, March 30th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-3PM prior to the service.

The family will gather at the home of Keith and Teresa Epps.

Pete Brown, Ken Mize, Eric Epps, Christopher Hanley, Brian Burkhardt, and Kevin Smith will serve as pallbearers.
